Production houses right now are in need of trained and talented artists, while at the same time skilled actors are in search of a good platform to establish themselves. To bridge this gap, Chennai Theatre Academy has come up with Cast-O-Base, a Casting Agency through which students and all skilled actors who register with our agency, are provided an opportunity to work with various production houses (viz. films, theatre, television shows, advertisements, short-films, online media, etc.). 

 Moreover, Chennai Theatre Academy provides professional acting training on par with international training/ teaching methodologies with the aim to encourage and bring out the talents of passionate and aspiring actors. Chennai Theatre Academy believes that Acting can be learnt Technically. Currently, Chennai Theatre Academy offers regular and weekend courses on advanced acting and the basic acting course can be taken up as an online course. These courses are taught by professionally trained trainers who have been formally trained in National School of Drama, Koothu-p-pattari (Chennai), and Pondicherry Central University – Performing Arts Department, who have immense experience and deep understanding about acting and its techniques. 

 Chennai theatre Academy is founded by Regin Rose who is an acclaimed and a professional Actor, Acting Trainer, Theatre Director and Casting Director having more than 5 years of experience in training people and an experienced and specialized trainer in Stanislavsky System, Michael Checkov Acting Techniques, Physical Acting and Method Acting. After his initial Under-Graduation in Mathematics he pursued his Post-Graduation Degree in Theatre from the Department of Performing Arts, Pondicherry Central University. He also completed his PG Diploma in Television Production there and went on to pursue his graduation from National School of Drama, New Delhi with specialization in Acting. 

 He is also the Founder-Director of MEDAI, the group theatre, through which he has directed many renowned theatre plays and has acted in more than 30 theatre productions, more than 10 notable movies, short films and web-series and has conducted several acting workshops.  Chennai Theatre Academy invites you all to have the best acting training and a great acting experience!
